The through-line is systems work: design systems, Sass architecture, and frontend platforms that survive growth. Titles vary; the job is usually “make this hold.”

  1. Senior Software Engineer, Tailored Brands, Inc.

    Aug 2023 — Present

    Staff-level scope on a Next.js / React / TypeScript stack: frontend architecture, a team of three, and high-traffic consumer surfaces.

    • Own frontend platform architecture — structural patterns, module boundaries, and composable APIs adopted across the frontend org.
    • Lead a team of 3 engineers: technical direction, unblocking, and mentoring on React, component APIs, testing, and system design.
    • Design-system architecture: hierarchical React components, shared primitives, composition conventions, and docs used by multiple product teams.
    • Ship high-traffic retail experiences with performance, resilience, and coverage (unit, integration, E2E) as first-class constraints.
    • Day-to-day AI-native engineering with Cursor and Claude — architecture, reviews, and delivery without trading away quality.

  2. Software Engineer, Kiefa

    Jan 2023 — May 2023

    • Built an internal design system from scratch in React, TypeScript, and Styled Components, with tests at every layer.
    • Shipped consumer-facing features end-to-end in a small, fast-moving startup.

  3. Software Engineer, Globality, Inc.

    Aug 2021 — Nov 2022

    • Developed an internal design system and component library in React / TypeScript for cohesive UI across the core application.
    • Researched, scoped, and delivered features from inception to production; extracted high-value components from the monolith for shared reuse.

  4. Software Engineer, Cisco Systems, Inc.

    Aug 2017 — Jun 2021

    One of five frontend engineers on Cisco Tetration (later Cisco Secure Workload) — an internal startup that scaled to a 120+ person org and $100M ARR.

    • Helped take the product from zero to market during the highest-leverage phase of a fast-growing security platform.
    • Built data-rich visualizations and dashboards with AngularJS, D3.js, and Sass for enterprise network security and workload management.
    • Authored a BEM-based Sass architecture adopted by a 120+ engineer organization; integrated Cisco’s design library with in-house styling.

  5. Software Engineer, Williams-Sonoma, Inc.

    Feb 2017 — Aug 2017

    • Developed and A/B tested e-commerce features on high-traffic retail surfaces; analyzed post-deploy metrics to evaluate impact.
